*John Breaux Webb K5ANN* - Silent Key
CROWLEY - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday,
January 16, 2012 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for John
Breaux Webb, 83 who died January 13, 2012 in Crowley.
Fr. Gary Schexnayder will officiate the services. The family request
visiting hours to be held Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and
Monday, 8:00 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be recited by
the Knights of Columbus at 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in
Woodlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Louise Cheek Webb, one daughter, Marie Hebert
and her husband Ronald of Lafayette; one son J.C. Webb and his wife Suzy
of Crowley; and a daughter-in-law, Cherylyn LeBlanc Webb of Lafayette;
six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou Schisler;
step-father Clausen Schisler; son Johnny F. Webb; and one grandson,
Ronald W. Hebert, Jr.
Memorial contributions may be made in John Webb's name to St. Michael
the Archangel Catholic Church.

John was a past member of the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc.
(AARA) in Lafayette for many years. He is
listed as a official ARRL Louisiana Emergency Station.

Licensed since June 1955. Retired in 1993 from The Louisiana Department
of Revenue & Taxation. Married to Louise (3/29/46) One Daughter, Marie
Louise Hebert Two son's J.C. Webb (WD5FJR), Johnny (WD5FJS) Deceased
1/19/91) Lifelong resident of Crowley, La. "The Rice Capital of America"
Hobbies: Bowling and participating in The Senior Olympics. Have been
Bowling 50 Years. Four time City Champion and three time State Champion.
Have participated in 4 ABC National Tournaments and have qualified 5
times in the National Senior Olympics.
On 10/11/01 I was inducted into the Louisiana Senior Olympic Hall Of
Fame in ceremonies in Baton Rouge, La.
