*Fox Hunt this evening (Monday)*

For those interested in the FOX hunt for Field Day, Wayne AF5EJ will
turn on the FOX after the AARA Monday night net on 6/4/12 for our first
FOX test. He will use a frequency of 147.520 for the FOX, it transmits
W5DDL in CW every 30 seconds. Anyone wanting to test their base station
or handheld directional antennas to pinpoint the FOX should use the
146.820 machine to coordinate their efforts. If some of the hams can
give their location and heading to the FOX on the 82 machine, we should
be able to determined the general area where the FOX is located. Wayne
will also be on the 82 machine and let us know when he reduces power on
the FOX. He will start out on 5 watts and cut it back to 1 watt.

We can have a real FOX hunt on a Saturday or Sunday before Field Day if
some of the hams are interested. Please contact me via email at
kf5fnp at cox.net if you are interested in a FOX hunt.

Also at our next meeting on 6/7/12 I will be showing a ARRL DVD on FOX
hunting.

*Update on Paul's K5VSH XYL*

To all:
Since I'm not very good at FaceBook, so I'm sending you this E-Mail:
In one month, +/- July 1^st , I'll be bringing home my wife Kathy, after
7 months.
She still has congestive heart failure and emphysema, but is alive and
here memory and knowledge are excellent.
Both of her primary doctors (Cardiac and Pulmonary) didn't think she
would make it.
She still requires a wheel chair or walker, but her muscles are building
strength. Her right hand though needs attention, since it is immobile
due to an
IV infection, and possible nerve damage, in the "early days". We're
working this issue.
I've secured home health and therapy for her and I'm "tickled" to have
her "back"

Sincerely,
PAUL D. SCALLAN, SR.
