Hi Folks,
I am looking for your favorite HF frequencies you work...I have a Icom IC 710 transceiver that covers 1.5-30 mHz. It's a great radio but it's geared towards HF marine bands (channels really all 180 of them) and thus "programed" as such. At the last Monday evening roll call on 2 meters a few mentioned they made contacts to Ireland and Russia. As a newbie in Ham radio, I'm interested in finding out what frequencies are "typical" I'm looking for frequencies and not bands. I need to program the channels my rig to these frequencies... it's not just a matter of twisting a knob to transmit and receive on this rig! I also understand the signal conditions change but give it your best shot.

If you can suggest your top 5-10 frequencies that would be a good starting point for me to better DX. Also I'm only interested in Phone so far.
