*AARA JUNE GENERAL MEETING*
The Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. (AARA) will have their 
General Meeting this Thursday, June 5
at 7 PM at the Red Cross building, 101 N. Pat St., Scott, LA.

VE Testing will be at 6 PM.

The main topic of this meeting will be our Field Day location and 
details on setting up and operating.
Please try to attend this meeting and take part in our Field Day 
activities. Remember hurricane season
started June 1, 2014. Field Day activities help train us to operate 
during emergency situations.

The weekend of June 7 & 8 is "Museum Ships-on-the Air" weekend. The USS 
Kid in Baton Rouge
will be operating and open for visitors to come out and operate 10:00 AM 
- 4:00 PM as per Buddy
N5BUD. They will be operating on 20 m and possibly 40 m.
