*ICS Training Course*

Are you interested in Emergency Communications and wanting to help local 
and state governments during emergencies? You must have proper training 
before you can be considered as a volunteer during emergency situations.

The *ACADIANA AMAT**EU**R RADIO ASSOCIATION, Inc* will be sponsoring a 
training seminar Friday March 9, 2018 starting at 8:30am, covering ICS 
Courses 100, 200 & 700.

FEMA ICS* Training will be conducted at the Rayne Civic Center, 112 Frog 
Festival Drive, Rayne, Louisiana 70578, on Friday (8:30am til) before 
the AARA Hamfest <http://www.w5ddl.org/hamfest/> for those interested in 
obtaining the required certifications. This course will be taught by Mr. 
Skip Breeden, Director of Emergency Operations for the LADOTD.

*The *Incident Command System* (*ICS*) is a standardized approach to the 
*command*, control, and coordination of emergency response providing a 
common hierarchy within which responders from multiple agencies can be 
effective.
