Just from my experience with what used to be Northeast Louisiana ARES Group. ??This makes *every* technician with a handy-tawky a "cop wanna-be" rather than a ham radio operator assisting emergency public servants."Served Agencies?" Who are they?Certainly not any taxpayer funded agencies. They are "service agencies."If a service agency needs assistance with communications, why are they trying to get "us" to do "their" jobs?

You must have proper training before you can be        considered as a volunteer during emergency situations.            The ACADIANA AMATEUR RADIO          ASSOCIATION, Inc will be sponsoring a training seminar        Friday March 9, 2018 starting at 8:30am, covering ICS Courses        100, 200 & 700.
