The AARA January 2022 newsletter is now on line with the first issue by 
our new LARC Editor - Brad Crozier  K5NFB.

The January 2022 AARA General Meeting will be on January 6, 2022 at 7:00

VE Testing will be at 6:00 PM, information about testing can be found here:

Discussion at the January meeting will about the 2022 Rayne Hamfest to 
take place in March.
The nominating committee will present a proposed slate of officers and 
two (2) Members-at-Large for the Board of Directors.
This slate will be published in the February issue of the LARC, the 
official journal of association. Nominations from the floor
and the election will take place at the February membership meeting. 
Nominations presented by the nominating committee
or from the floor must have the prior consent of the nominee and 
membership in good standing.

*Forums:*  ARRL, LCARC, ARES  If you are interested in doing a short 
presentation, please contact us!!
*Swap Tables:*  1st table $15.00 - additional tables $10.00 each, limit 
3 tables per person.
                         75% of items on tables must be Amateur Radio or 
Computer related !! You may setup your tables on Fri.
                         evening, after 4:00 pm!!  Go to website to 
download “Swap Table” application form.
*Main Prizes:*  Because of the limited availability of new radios from 
various vendors, we have opted for cash prizes!!
         1st Prize - $500.00
         2nd Prize - $250.00
         3rd Prize - $125.00
         4th Prize - $100.00
         Hourly Door Prizes - Main Prize Drawing @ 2:00 PM - Winners 
need not to be present to win these prizes.
