[AARA] Gerald Gauthier AB5IS - Silent Key

[Herman Campbell]

      Mr. Gauthier, 75, of Pineville, Louisiana was born on January 16, 
1948 in Alexandria and passed from this life on Friday, February 3, 2023 
in Alexandria.
      Gerald was a retired Correctional Officer at Angola State Prison 
for many years and served his country in the Louisiana National Guard.  
For many years, Gerald, was a Net Control Operator for the Central Gulf 
Coast Hurricane Net on 3935 KHz.
      Gerald was first licensed in 1984 and held a Extra Class license 
(AB5IS) and married to wife Emily N5KGF and resided in Pineville, Louisiana.

*Quote from AB5IS QRZ Page:*
“We are running the Kenwood TS450s and TS120s, AT4K Roller Inductor 
Tuner, and Ameritron AL-82 AMP running two 3-500's.All antennas are on a 
40 foot tower. The Tower was taken down from 115 foot to 40 foot, so my 
wife would not have the problems in getting it down one of these days if 
something happened to me”.
