Donald Fauntleroy, W5IT, passed away on Friday, January 5th, 2024, at 
about 1:30 pm while in Hospice care at the Carpenter House in Baton 
Rouge, La.
     Don was a lifelong resident of Central, and was retired from 
Entergy. He was an Eagle Scout, Amateur Radio Operator, and a reserve 
deputy with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.
       Don is survived by his wife, Cathy, three daughters and sons in 
laws, Christina Fauntleroy Martin, Ashley Fauntleroy LeBlanc, Melissa 
Fauntleroy, and grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents, 
Mr. And Mrs. Hezzie Fauntleroy, and his sister Dee Dee.
     Once arrangement have been made, will advise further...

     Visitation / Sunday 1/14/24 / 5-9 pm at Central Funeral Home on 
Hooper Rd
     Visitation will resume / Monday 1/15/24 / 9:30-11 am at St 
Alphonsus Catholic Church on Greenwell Springs Rd with services at 11
     Burial to follow located at Greenoaks Memorial Cemetery on Florida 
Blvd in Baton Rouge
