*Special Event Station - April 9, 2011 *

The Southeast Louisiana Amateur Radio Club (SELARC) will be operating a
Special Event station from the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival this
Saturday, April 9th. We will be running HF SSB and VHF FM stations with
vertical and wire antennas from the QTH of SELARC member N4USW, located
directly across the street from the fairgrounds on North 6th Street,
just a few blocks from downtown Ponchatoula. Obviously, there will be
no parking in that area, but just follow the crowd and look for the
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Mobile Command Center and our SELARC
signs!

We will begin as early as operators show up on Saturday morning, and
will shut down when the last operator signs QRT, so come on by and get
some air-time or just visit. If you want to operate digital or CW
modes, bring your own keyer or laptop, interface and cables!

If interested, enter your time and mode preference in the schedule
section below and REPLY by Friday afternoon. Hope to see you there, or
work you on the bands from WB5NET (Murphy and QRN permitting)!
