This is part of the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Inc. (AARA) 
Field Day Event.  More bulletins to follow.  This year our FD is more or 
less geared on
emergency communications.  We invite anyone hams or non-hams to visit 
our FD event as soon as the location is announced.

THIS IS A DRILL

Saturday June 9^th .

TS Kaboudreaux continues to strengthen and could turn to the North-East. 
Voluntary EVAC from Galveston Island begins.

Landfall is expected between Brownsville and Houston. NHC activates 
HURRICANE NET ON 14.325 USB. Gulf Coast SSB net on 3.925 LSB and the 
Gulf Coast Hurricane net on 3.935 LSB have also been activated.

_Remember, this is a DRILL only and not a real event.  It is just part 
of our upcoming Field Day exercise on emergency communications._
