Attached are the slides from today's NWS Lake Charles weather update. 
The highlights:

1. A significant heavy rain and flooding event is possible over the next 
few days. On Tuesday we are expecting 2-4 inches of rain across 
southeast Texas and western Louisiana. On Wednesday we are expecting 2-4 
inches of rain across southwest Louisiana and central Louisiana.

2. Due to the heavy rains, rivers will flood again. The Sabine, 
Calcasieu, Mermentau, and Vermilion Rivers have the potential to go to a 
moderate to major flood later this week. Pine Island Bayou and Village 
Creek could go to a minor flood.

3. Severe storms, including isolated tornadoes, will be possible Tuesday 
afternoon and Tuesday night, and could extend into Wednesday.

4. Strong winds on Tuesday, blowing from the southeast at 20 to 30 mph 
with gusts to 45 mph, will cause some scattered power outages and blow a 
few trees or tree limbs down.

5. Because of the strong winds, minor coastal flooding is expected 
during high tide Tuesday afternoon, where tides will run 1-2 feet above 
normal.
