Hurricane season starts Friday June 1^st , its time to check your 
Go-Kits, start and run your generators, and stock up on hurricane 
supplies. On Saturday June 2^nd the National Hurricane Center will have 
an ON AIR test from 9AM to 5PM on 14.325 USB. Please visit their website 
at WX4NHC for more information.

Saturday June 2, 2012 at 12 PM on 146.82 repeater in New Orleans. You 
can connect to our repeater ECHO LINK NODE 939324.
NOTE... THE 146.82 REPEATER/COMPUTER AND LINKS WILL BE ON EMERGENCY 
POWER STARTING AT 11:30 AM FOR THE DRILL. EVERYTHING WILL BE RUNNING OF 
BATTERIES. THE BATTERIES SHOULD LAST APPROXIMATELY 36 HOURS BEFORE THE 
GENERATORS START UP.
Can you check with the club in Lafayette if they would be interested in 
connecting their repeater to our Node in New Orleans for the National 
Hurricane Center VOIP Test / Drill partion. Which is scheduled for 
Saturday June 2, 2012 at 12 PM. They can also connect to WX-Talk Echo
