*October AARA General Meeting*
The AARA October General Meeting will be on October 3, 2013 at 7:00 PM 
at the Red Cross Building, 101 N. Pat Street, Scott, Louisiana.  VE 
Testing at 6:00 PM. We will have a special guest  (Bob Norwillo) from 
the local Boy Scouts to give a talk on getting us
involved in JOTA and Boy Scout Camp at Mountain Bayou Lake Boy Scout 
Camp near Chicot State Park.

Glen KF5FNP may be able to give us some updates on the Tabasco Special 
Event.
     Larry KE5KJD & Sandy KE5KJF will fill us in on the Tour du Teche 
Canoe Race next weekend.

Hope to see you at the meeting.  October looks like a busy month for ham 
radio.
